The Hammer (and The Catcher)
Stuart's Catapult impressed me from the start. But the balls just didn't fly far enough for me. So I built a 2nd version in which significantly more weight falls on the catapult. The result is a 60 cm high flight instead of a 10 cm jump. In order to bring the long flight to a reasonable end, however, a new MOC was needed. I called this one 'The Catcher' because that's exactly what it does, it catches the balls. It is run by two old motors (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=70357&C=11#T=C&C=11). In the video there was only one motor, but this was not enough power for a 2 or 3 days show. You can see it in some of my newer videos from shows.
